2008 Technical Intern Program
We have filled all our tech requirements for the 2008 season. Thanks to all who applied and we hope to hear from you again next year!
We currently hire four technical interns:
Deathtrap (2003)
Scenic Shop Intern: This intern has the opportunity to work with a professional Technical Director and Scenic Designers, as well as Assistant TD and two Carpenters. He/She will work building and installing all the sets for our mainstage and children’s productions and learn many “tricks of the trade” from our professional theatrical personnel.
Assistant Stage Manager: The ASM will act as the Stage Manager for our children’s show, and will assist on all our mainstage shows, attending rehearsals and working backstage.
Costume Shop Intern: This intern has the opportunity to work with our professional Designers and Assistants, taking part in the build of all the costumes for our entire season.
Sound Engineer Intern: This intern has the opportunity to work with our professional sound designer, working on all sound cues, orchestra balance and body/stage microphones. He/She will also be responsible for running the sound board at all performances and will lead body mic check at every musical performance, troubleshooting any issues.
Per diem pay is $125.00 per week and housing is provided.
