A Few Good Men
By Aaron Sorkin
August 6 - 16
This sizzling courtroom drama and Broadway hit was written by Syracuse University grad Aaron Sorkin who went on to great fame for his intriguing and intelligent scripts of TV’s "The West Wing."
In this play the NY Daily News called “enormously entertaining,” two Marines are on trial for complicity in the death of a fellow Marine at Guantanamo Bay. Their lawyer, a young man more interested in softball games than the case, expects a plea bargain and a simple cover up. Prodded by a female member of his defense team, he eventually makes a valiant effort to defend his clients and, in so doing, puts the military mentality and the Marine code of honor on trial.
A powerful and passionate script makes for an unforgettable night of theatre!
"Plenty of wise cracking humor and suspense." -Time Magazine
